Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival Will Not Return To LA!

Last year Jay-Z decided to step up his Made In America Music Festival and have the festival take place on both the east and west coast. The two day festival took place in both Philly and LA during Labor Day Weekend. This year however the concert has been cancelled for the west coast.

Last year Hov stacked the line up for the west coast show and it included artists like Kanye West, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Steve Aoki, and John Mayer. But even with such a major line up the festival was not received well by the crowd.

The vice-president of marketing for Budwiser, who sponsors the festival stated,

"This is not at all a stepping back — this is a reevaluation of the model of going from one location to two to three. We're a very ambitious brand, and we have a very ambitious partner in Jay Z, who also dreams big. And we always want to do big, bold things with music under the moniker of Budweiser Made In America."

East coasters no need to get worried, the Made in America festival will be returning to Philadelphia for its fourth year on September 5th.
